Committees

In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees. Our committee structure is based around a common goal of providing more service to children.  The committees work together to achieve this simple goal.

Community Service

The backbone of our organization is service.  The Community Service Committee identifies and organizes the opportunities for members to participate in a wide variety of service projects.

Membership Development

An organization is only as strong as its membership.  Membership Development works on recruiting and retaining members.  They organize marketing strategies and focus on areas to improve membership.

K-Family
and Circle K

K-Family coordinates the sponsorships of our K-Family clubs throughout the Oshkosh Area School District as well as the parochial school district.  This committee assists Key Clubs to organize fundraisers and help facilitate Key Club events throughout the school year.  This committee also works with our Circle K Club on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus. Members assist university students with numerous fundraising and service projects throughout the academic year.

Marketing, Web and Public Relations

The Marketing, Web and PR committee makes sure that our community and Kiwanis members stay informed about our club activities and projects.  Committee members coordinate advertising, distribute PSAs, and provide press releases on news worthy club activities.
